Findings from the Readings

Three things that I learned from the articles "Evolution of the Web", "The Wax and Wane of the Web", and "Intro to HTML" were different insights into web development and web standards.

1. The web has developed through distinct phases: Web 1.0, Web 2.0, and Web 3.0. This has included a transformation from static content all the way to a "read-write-execute" format.
2. Web Standards was pushed for around 2000, establishing better practices for things like CSS and JavaScript.
3. Web development is highly cyclical, and just as developers get comfortable with certain tools and approaches, new capabilities emerge and reshape how we interact with the web.

Semester Project Proposal

Last semester, I developed extensive research on the new approach to fashion communication in this age of social media and content creation in my Critical Media Studies class. I studied the community of LTK specifically, and for my project this semester, I want to look at it from the project managers' perspective behind these fashion content creation/communication platforms.
